While in-person conferences have large become an endangered species in 2020, NAFEMS is moving forward with plans for its NAFEMS World Congress 2021, to be held in Salzburg, Austria, June 14-18, 2021.
The organization has issued a call for papers for potential presentations.
According to NAFEMS, the show will be a hybrid event. According to the announcement:
“Based around the Congress Hub in Salzburg, Austria, one of the most technologically advanced conference centres in Europe, live presentations and workshops will blend with online delivery for both presenters and attendees ... No matter how the international landscape looks next year, we’ll be making sure that you can participate in the Congress, be it onsite in Austria, or remotely from wherever you are.”
The conference will cover every aspect of engineering modelling, analysis and simulation, including core topics like FEA, CFD, and MBD, as well as examining the next steps for the NAFEMS community and the technology. NAFEMS will also host the 5th International SPDM conference.
Presenters who submit an abstract are not committed to traveling to Salzburg, and NAFEMS will work with all stakeholders to ensure full participation, regardless of restrictions or COVID-19 circumstances in various regions of the world.
NAFEMS Americas and Digital Engineering recently hosted the first online CAASE20 event, which you can access here.
