Mentor Graphics has launched the newest version of its Flowmaster 1D CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software. This release, the company states, has several new functionalities including a multi-arm tank component and integration with 1D pipe stress products.
A few capabilities in version 7.9.4 are:
- Enhanced “Experiments,” where users can modify key system parameters and observe impact.
- Bookmarks that automatically update design iterations and allow users can compare modifications.
- A Multi-Arm Tank Component that lets users choose between two distinct heat transfer models: poly-tropic and full heat transfer.
