Utah-based Turner MedTech officially debuted at the MD&M Conference in Anaheim, CA. The company plans to provide medical device product developers with highly-specialized alternatives for rapid prototyping and short-run outsourced manufacturing, a company press release stated.
Within its facilities, Turner MedTech will provide a variety of services, including rapid prototyping, CNC machining, injection molding, low to medium electromechanical assembly, process validation and component traceability. It also will offer product design, engineering, verification and validation to its clients.
“The rationale for outsourced manufacturing and product development is clear,” said Clark Turner, founder of Turner MedTech. “Outsourcing allows device manufacturers to focus on their greatest core competencies, while benefiting from the efficiency and high specialization of an expert resource such as Turner MedTech ... While [we] provide a full spectrum of commercialization resources the company is a particularly optimal partner for entrepreneurs and product developers with a product design in hand who are looking for an ideal manufacturing partner.”
