MakerBot Opens Innovation Centers at Universities and Businesses

MakerBot has announced the opening of two Innovation Centers located at the State University of New York at New Paltz and College of the Ouachitas in Malvern, AR.

According to a company press release, these centers are filled with more than 30 MakerBot desktop 3D printers and scanners to help train the next generation of engineers, architects, industrial designers and artists.

Not only will these centers be available to university students, but also businesses that can use the technology for design, product development and rapid prototyping.
