LSI to Offer Demonstrations at SC11 Supercomputing Conference

LSI Corporation has is demonstrating its latest storage silicon and software technologies for application acceleration this week at the SC11 supercomputing conference in the Washington State Convention Center.
The technology demonstrations will highlight how solid-state storage technology can help transactional I/O performance for high-performance computing environments. The demonstrations feature LSI MegaRAID CacheCade Pro 2.0 read/write caching software for hard disk drive-based arrays using solid-state drives (SSDs), and LSI MegaRAID Fast Path software for I/O acceleration of SSD arrays.
The demonstrations showcase how solid state storage technology can be used to accelerate application performance and configured in a high availability cluster using SIOS’s SteelEye Protection Suite and DataOn’s enterprise-class enclosures. LSI storage technologies will also be on display in LSI partner booths, including Amax Information Technology, Genstor and iXsystems .
