Lenovo Announces New ThinkPad Laptops and Mobile Monitors
New product represents company's first mobile monitor.

Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad Edge 14-in. E425 and 15.6-in. E525 laptops for small-to-medium businesses (SMB) and the ThinkVision LT1421 Wide mobile monitor that gives mobile professionals a second screen for on-the-go use to display spreadsheets and make presentations.
The new laptops include AMD A-Series Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) with VISION Pro Technology for multitasking and mainstream application acceleration, extended battery life and Integrated AMD Radeon graphics with dedicated video memory. Other features include up to 750GB drives and up to 8GB of memory, multimedia and expansion options with DVD burner, powered USB port, 4-1 media card reader and support for HDMI. Lenovo also offers an optional fingerprint reader for convenient and secure log-in.
Additionally, the laptops come equipped with a low-light sensitive web camera, noise suppressing keyboard, microphone mute key and the ThinkVantage Communications Utility 2.0. Users can even lock their PC with Lenovo’s AutoLock function, which uses the camera to automatically detect when the user is away and subsequently locks the PC.
The 14-in. ThinkVision LT1421 Wide mobile monitor weighs under 2 lbs. and is less than 1 cm. at its thinnest. To use, plug the monitor into a laptop via USB and prop it up with its photo frame stand. Tilt the display to the desired angle and choose from 16 brightness levels.
