Kubotek USA has launched KeyCreator 2015, its independent Direct CAD solution. This release adds functionality and customer-driven enhancements for efficiency and productivity.
Added to KeyCreator 2015 is the KeyCreator Compare module, which allows users to import, edit and compare dozens of native CAD files from other systems. This functionality, according to the company, can be helpful in comparisons for quoting jobs, design collaboration with customers as well as revision management. It also expands KeyCreator’s proprietary pattern recognition technology for enabling a way to graphically identify, automatically organize and communicate changes to model data with automated PDF reporting.
Other features in KeyCreator 2015 include animation enhancements for rack & pinion constraints, universal joint constraints, point-on-curve constraints and intermittent motor dialogs. Users can also capture animation replay and export it as a movie file.
Updates have been made to the KeyCreator Artisan module. With Artisan, users can generate high quality photorealistic images for digital prototyping, design reviews and more. Improvements for KeyCreator Analysis, to be added in later releases, include an improved mesher.
“This technology was developed a few years ago as a natural extension of our already powerful feature and pattern recognition technology. KeyCreator is all about openness and making collaboration between internal and external customers easy. We can work with anyone’s CAD data effortlessly, so why not provide another industry-leading tool to help KeyCreator users not only improve their productivity, but also their bottom line,” says Matt Carr, vice president of Sales & Support, Kubotek.
