Joe Greco, a widely published and much admired advocate of all thingsCAD, died on December 7, while vacationing in Hawaii with his wife,photographer Heather Kadar, and Heather’s parents. He was 41 years old.The cause of death was complications resulting from cardiac arrest.
Joe was well known throughout the CAD industry as a prolific writer andindustry analyst. He will be remembered as one of the leading and mostrespected voices of the CAD community, impressing readers, editors, andsoftware publishers alike with his no-nonsense and earnest approach tocovering the CAD universe.
Joe was a contributing editor at Desktop Engineering and a frequent contributor to CADalyst, Cadence, Computer Graphics World, Design Product News, and Machine Design magazines. He was also the president of the CAD Society.
A scholarship fund is being established in Joe’s name at: The CAD Society, 8220 Stone Trail Dr., Bethesda, MD 20817-4556.
