Invention Machine has released an update to its Goldfire innovation intelligence platform. Goldfire connects innovation and knowledge workers, on-demand, to one another, and to the internal and external knowledge and trends needed to develop, maintain, and produce new products and services.

Goldfire 7.0 includes an array of new functionality designed to inform product development teams. Among the upgrades are a consumer sentiment function that provides qualitative assessment of sentiments expressed in Big Data, along with social media and RSS feeds, and expert identification for locating experts with specialized skills.

The Goldfire platform helps organizations find and leverage the information they need across, industries, fields of study, and languages.  To supplement the content that companies identify themselves, Invention Machine enables access to Goldfire Intelligence,  a wide variety of external content including technical journals,  millions of worldwide patents, thousands of deep web websites and proprietary libraries of problem-solving content. Goldfire 7.0 includes two new sources of scientific- and engineering-rich content: Techniques de lIng ©nieur (French Technical Institute) and Materials Information Society (ASM International).
