Manufacturers looking to develop complex polymer products with intricate geometries and multimaterial parts can now procure prototypes and production volumes, according to Inkbit.

Inkbit, a company vested in advanced additive manufacturing solutions, makes available its 3D printing services. Manufacturers looking to develop complex polymer products with intricate geometries and multimaterial parts can now procure prototypes and production volumes without having to acquire an Inkbit Vista System, the company notes.

Inkbit’s technology is natively multi-material, enabling for example the printing of soft gaskets integrated into rigid structures. Thanks to its real-time 3D inspection system, the Inkbit process has accuracy, guaranteeing that all components on the print bed will be consistently accurate and will fit together just right during assembly, according to the company.

The Inkbit technology is suited to multi-component and multi-material products comprising large numbers of parts that benefit from agile-style development cycles.  Manufacturers can now create multi-material, complex geometries and fine details. With reduced lead times and faster iteration cycles, Inkbit can accelerate product development and open new possibilities for robotic, aerospace, fluidic, automotive, and other applications, the company notes.

“Introducing our 3D printing services was a natural step in our commitment to provide customers with an accelerated path to the future of product development,” says Davide Marini, CEO of Inkbit. “We want to offer a seamless end-to-end solution to facilitate the conception, refinement and realization of complex, multi-material, intelligent products.”
