Image Mechanics has announced the release of F.O.A.M. (File Offline Archive Management). The F.O.A.M. insert can safely store up to 24 bare hard drives (18 within the smaller unit). F.O.A.M. is designed to fit into small and large file cabinet drawers, or bankers filing boxes, where data can be easily locked up. Additionally, the product is made from specially designed closed cell, anti-static, foam that protects your drives from static electricity and shock.

“As a professional photographer, I amass a large amount of data,” said Michael Grecco, co-founder, Image Mechanics. “As a small business owner, I can’t justify the cost of multiple RAID devices. The F.O.A.M. product lets me store my data off-line, in a locked file cabinet.”
