ICAM Ships Integrated PSE v20

ICAM Technologies is shipping Integrated PSE v20, the latest version of its integrated post-processing, simulation and emulation software. Integrated PSE provides an environment for post-processing, simulation and emulation (for G-Code) that interfaces with popular CAD/CAM/PLM systems, CNC controllers and machine tools.

The solution supports Windows 8 and features SmartPATH, a software designed to automatically optimize rapid positioning toolpath motions generated by CAD/CAM systems. SmartPATH identifies inefficient and unsafe positioning motions and automatically replaces them with minimized collision-free safe motions based on the actual machine tool kinematics, physical travel limits, axes positioning rates and the dynamically changing state of the in-process stock.

New features include support for 3D tool compensation, support for positioning/continuous B axis when turning, and support for probing and part-transfer of in-process stock. Advanced time line presents more information on simulation processes
