A collaboration in Hungary has revealed the design for Flike, an all-electric personal flight device. The project was started in 2014 by a few members of Bay Zoltan Nonprofit Ltd. Currently, members are reworking the design to produce a more efficient aircraft.
Specifically, it is a coaxial, Y6-layout tricopter with its rotors configured in a circle. It is powered by a Lithium Polymer battery that supports between 15-20 minutes of flight.
For flying control, the user simply adjusts the rotation speed of individual rotors. This, according to the company, enables it to hover, roll, bank, drift, spin, yaw, dive and more.
Below you’ll find a video for the second test run of the Flike.
