HP has launched several technologies at the NAB 2015 show. These advancements, the company states, are to help artists, creators and developers bring ideas and products to life quickly and efficiently.
Included in the new product line are the Z Turbo Drive G2, OMEN Pro Mobile Workstation and several new displays.
The Z Turbo Drive is a solid-state drive (SSD) powered by Samsung NVMe technology. This enables it to deliver four times the speed of a traditional SATA SSD.
HP’s OMEN Pro is a full-performance workstation that has fourth-generation Intel Core i7 processors, Windows 7, NVIDIA Quadro graphics and HP Turbo Drive PCIe storage. It can run certified ISV (independent software vendor) products and has extensive compatibility.
For its new line of displays, HP has introduced the DreamColor Z32x, as well as the Ultra-Narrow Bezel Z27n, Z25n, Z24nf and Z24ng. The DreamColor is a 4K UHD (ultra high-definition) and has a 31.5-in. diagonal. The Ultra-Narrow Bezel family is color-calibrated for flexible connectivity and multi-display setups.
“As the leader in the workstation industry, we continue to develop customer inspired innovative solutions that solve real-world business needs,” said Jeff Wood, vice president of product management, Workstation & Thin Client Business, HP. “Solving the storage bottleneck, delivering a light full-performance mobile workstation and allowing creative professional advanced visual solutions will bolster customer design workflows.”
