Create cylindrical or conical helices for CFD in Caedium.

Symscape’s Caedium v5.1 includes a new Helix tool for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and improved mesh element size control.

Using the new Helix tool users can create cylindrical or conical helices for CFD simulations. For example, combined with the improved Sweep tool, the solution allows users to sweep an edge along a helix to produce a strake for a chimney.

With the improved mesh element sizing for the Accuracy tool users can ensure that the mesh size is locally bounded around the geometry with the applied mesh size constraint.
