Aras announced that General Electric (GE) Aviation will present at ACE 2014, the company’s annual global conference. GE will share best practices for supply chain management and bill of materials management in complex product development environments. The conference will be held April 19 to May 1 in Chicago.
According to the company, ACE 2014 brings together business and technology professionals from around the world to discuss, benchmark and collaborate on PLM best practices for addressing the growing complexity in global product development, manufacturing, quality and the supply chain.
General Electric Aviation, an operating unit of General Electric, is the world’s largest producer of jet engines for commercial and military aircraft. With a workforce of about 40,000 people globally and revenues of more than $20 billion, GE estimates that an aircraft powered by GE or one of its partner companies takes flight every two seconds.
