FISHER/UNITECH is exhibiting at the Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS), in the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, OH, April 19-21, 2011.
In Booth #1018, FISHER/UNITECH will demonstrate the capabilities of the Dimension Elite 3D Printer. It uses ABS production-grade thermoplastic, printing models from the bottom up with deposited layers of modeling and support material. Models don’t need to be cured; they are solid right out of the machine. A water-based solution removes support material to complete the detailed design. Models can then be drilled, tapped, sanded, and painted.
The biennial PMTS is a gathering of manufacturers, suppliers and end users of products and services dedicated to the production of precision machined products and turned parts. The 2009 show hosted nearly 3,000 attendees from the automotive, industrial machinery, aerospace and defense, medical and consumer product industries.
