ETRAGE announced the availability of the Etrage Integration Server (EIS) for The IFS Integration Application for SolidWorks EPDM. EIS is a modular data transfer infrastructure that can integrate engineering, manufacturing and business systems from different vendors, such as CAD, PDM, PLM, ERP, and MRP systems for a bidirectional exchange of data.
According to the company, the integration of IFS Applications ERP with SolidWorks Enterprise PDM using EIS provides real-time updates of Bills of Materials (BOM) changes into IFS, streamlines data flow between the engineering, manufacturing and purchasing departments, eliminates manual data entry or processes of large sets of data and ensures that manufacturing and purchasing has access to the most up to date engineering data and drawings inside IFS.
“ETRAGE continues to deliver PLM to ERP turnkey integration solutions to its customers using our flexible system integration platform. After our successes with PTC Windchill with IFS ERP integration, we are expanding into integration with EPDM and with more PLM to ERP integrations to come,” said Bojan Rapaic, president and director of development at ETRAGE.
