3DCeram introduces the C1000 FLEXMATIC, a new midrange industrial 3D ceramics printer that combines the technology refined in previous models and extends the product line by providing a semi-automatic approach to industrial 3D printing.

The company says this new printer integrates into the company’s SMART Ceramic Factory to achieve semi-automatic production of large-scale production, from scraping to lasering to recycling and post-processing.

The company says the C1000 is designed for large parts and large runs of small parts. The build chamber is 320x320x200 mm. The printer works with more than a dozen specific ceramic specifications, including Si3N4, Zirconia and Alumina.

The C1000 comes in two models: a one- and a two-laser configuration.

The C1000 is a semi-automated production system, with tech for recycling of uncured material and for the cleaning phase of parts and trays.

3DCeram says parts printed on the C1000 FLEXMATIC require little or no support structures, saving production time.

Early user Alumina Systems is now using the C1000 for projects that it says were previously “consigned to the shelf” due to a lack of suitable production tools.

The company says it has a global network of distributors ready to help new users with installation and usage.

The C1000 FLEXMATIC ceramic 3D printer is now available from 3DCeram.
