Desktop Engineering Readers Asked to Vote for 2005 Readers’ Choice Product of the Year

Desktop Engineering (DE) magazine will announce the winner of the magazine’s 2005 Readers’ Choice Product of the Year award this March at the National Manufacturing Week trade show in Chicago, IL. The winner will also be announced online and in the May issue of the magazine.

DE readers and site visitors are voting online from among agroup of twelve products, each of which had been previously selected in2005 to receive the monthly Readers’ Choice Award. “Unlike so manyawards handed out by trade magazines, this is truly a people’s choiceaward. DE‘s editors had nothing to do with picking the monthlyor yearly winner. We let our readers tell us what captured theirfancies and we got 12 terrific and different products,” said TonyLockwood, editorial director.

Votes for the Product of the Year are being collected now until March 1 via DE‘s website. Click here to vote.  Voters are also being directed through DE Newslink, the weekly e-newsletter; the March issue; and an e-mail campaign that is being sent to the Newslink subscriber list.
