This week at SolidWorks World, the company made several announcements, including a new product combining data management, simulation, on-demand manufacturing, and more. The suite is made possible by Dassault Systemes' recent acquisition of IQMS.

With its product xDesign already in beta, SolidWorks introduces a new x-module for creating organic shapes.

The next SolidWorks World will also have a different look, due to a branding change. It's set to occur in Nashville, TN.

3DConnexion demonstrates a model-handling device for those who prefer the dual-handed approach to CAD work. The device is one of the earliest to be certified for SolidWorks xDesign.

3D Systems announces a new release of its scan-to-cad software, updated for SolidWorks 2019.

Rize strikes a partnership with a SolidWorks reseller, demonstrates how the alliance makes it easy to print SolidWorks parts on its machines.

In Chicago, made possible with a partnership with DMDII's UI Labs, Autodesk launches a new space to foster generative design applications.
