Creaformwill release its new VXtrack dynamic tracking software module during the 25th CONTROL international trade fair for quality assurance that will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, from May 3-6, 2011.
Teamed with Creaform’s C-Track dual camera optical sensor, VXtrack dynamic tracking can be used to simultaneously and continuously measure positions and orientations in space with great precision. Combined with the HandyPROBE arm-free portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM), VXtrack provides a portable 3D measuring solution offering both probing inspection and dynamic measurement capabilities.
The VXtrack module has numerous applications like robot calibration and guidance, monitoring of complex assembly processes, real-time compensation of machining tool-generated errors and monitoring of deformations during testing.
VXtrack has a measurement rate of up to 24,000 reflectors per second with oversampling, along with extendable measuring volume, real-time curve display, an API for interfacing with third-party applications and acquisition synchronization capability through external trigger input.
