CCE, a provider of advanced CAD interoperability technology, has launched its free browser-based CAD viewer product, EnSuite-Web.

EnSuite-Web is a free viewer solution that works directly on the browser. Users can view files from all major CAD formats, including CATIA V5, CATIA V6 (3DXML), SOLIDWORKS, NX, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge and JT among others. EnSuite-Web is built using CCE’s proprietary CAD interoperability technology that is currently being licensed by several CAD Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).

“With EnSuite-Web, we empower all users in the enterprise to have free access to 3D CAD viewing technology. Not everyone needs a heavyweight viewer with all bells and whistles. Depending on your role in the extended enterprise, just being able to view 3D CAD data without having to install software is a big draw,” says Vinay Wagle, CCE’s vice president of sales & marketing.

EnSuite-Web is CAD independent. Users do not need licenses of the CAD systems to view files of those systems. It is also platform independent and can be viewed on any of the supported browsers.

“This is just our initial release. We have a lot of cool upgrades planned for the rest of the year. The best part is that EnSuite-Web users don’t have to worry about installing new software upgrades. Automatic updates will be delivered periodically without causing any interruption to the user,” adds Vinay.
