Carl Zeiss Industrielle Messtechnik GmbH acquired Dr. Wolf & Beck GmbH (Wangen, Germany) as part of its growth strategy, which centers on optical measuring technology and multisensor systems. The two companies jointly developed O-INSPECT, an instrument for optoelectronic measurement that is currently being introduced to market.
Wolf & Beck offers custom solutions in for image analysis and laser package solutions for coordinate measuring machines used for optical scanning. The company focuses on solutions that require interdisciplinary know-how from the fields of optics, precision engineering, electronics, microprocessor technology and software. This includes optical 1D, 2D, and 3D sensors for the recognition of form and color.
