BOXX Technologies unveils the new APEXX Enigma S3 workstation, featuring an overclocked, 9th-generation, Intel Core i7  processor, at BOXX booth #B539 at Autodesk University (AU) in Las Vegas, NV (show dates: Nov. 13-15). BOXX is also demonstrating additional Intel-based systems, as well as the APEXX Neutrino T equipped with an overclocked, 2nd-generation AMD Ryzen Threadripper processor.

“With the APEXX Enigma S3 and APEXX Neutrino, BOXX is offering Autodesk users tomorrow’s technology today,” says Bill Leasure, BOXX VP of Marketing. “These models, as well as other BOXX systems, are specifically designed to accelerate 3ds Max, Maya, Revit, and other creative application workflows.”

At Autodesk University, the APEXX Enigma S3 will demonstrate Autodesk Maya and Arnold, but the workstation also offers professional grade performance for all 3D CAD, animation, motion media and rendering applications including Autodesk 3ds Max, Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks. Enigma S3 joins the stellar APEXX S-class family of BOXX workstations with professionally overclocked Intel Core i7 processors that exceed speeds of 4.9 GHz. The liquid-cooled systems sustain that frequency across all cores.

Ninth-generation Intel processors offer performance increase over previous Intel technology and APEXX Enigma S3 is configurable with either an eight-core Intel Core i7 or i9 processor, along with dual slot NVIDIA or AMD Radeon Pro professional graphics cards, an additional single slot card, solid-state drives and faster memory at 2666MHz DDR4.

The BOXX AU booth is also home to the versatile APEXX Neutrino T workstation which delivers performance for 3ds Max, Maya, V-Ray and a variety of other 3D content creation tools. APEXX Neutrino T features a 32-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper processor, up to three professional GPUs, ample memory and multiple hard drives.

In addition to the aforementioned systems, AU attendees can view the AMD Ryzen Threadripper-based APEXX T3 demonstrating Revit and V-Ray, the desktop replacement GoBOXX MXL mobile workstation demonstrating Revit, and the Autodesk Flame-qualified APEXX W5.

“By working closely with both Autodesk and our customers, we ensure that BOXX systems are custom-configured to optimize these specific workflows,” says Leasure.
