BIT USA Opens R&D Facility

New center will include CNC machine lab, testing space and rapid prototyping capabilities.

BIT Group has opened a new 22,500 square foot “Center of Excellence for Life Science and IVD Products” in Irvine, CA, for BIT USA.

According to a press release published on The Herald, the center has capabilities for developing instrument prototypes, rapid prototyping and a computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine shop. The facility also has a wet lab, electromagnetic compatibility-shielded test room and electronic lab.

“Our new R&D Center of Excellence reflects the growing demand of our clients for comprehensive, advanced R&D services and helps us to sustain our leading market position by consolidating all R&D know-how,” said BIT Group CEO, Marius Balger. “We have constructed this Center to stimulate superior Team Collaboration and multi-disciplinary interactions. Additionally, the facility supports high-level R&D collaboration with our clients, with restricted areas providing a safe and confidential environment.”
