Altran UK, Theorem Solutions Partner to Deliver PLM Data Exchange

Altran UK and Theorem Solutions has formed a partnership to implement a Product Data Management (PDM) Exchange solution which allows companies with various CAD and PLM (product lifecycle management) systems to exchange information securely throughout the product lifecycle.

Theorem is to provide the underlying software and technical support, and Altran will offer implementation services.

“Our PDM Exchange solution allows a supplier to work with multiple customers without compromising its own engineering and manufacturing processes,” said Stuart Thurlby, managing director of Theorem Solutions. “The same technology can also be used to aggregate CAD and PLM information from multiple sources within an organization. This makes it easy to accommodate information from legacy systems to avoid or postpone expensive data migrations. PDM Exchange can be cloud served or on-premise, and is based on our own well-proven data model, meaning that we can respond quickly to new releases of PLM tools without waiting for standards to be updated.”
