Altair Announces Keynotes for European Altair Technology Conference

Presenters include Porsche, Scania, Stadler Rail, Valeo and more.

Altair has released new details regarding its seventh European Altair Technology Conference (ATC), which will be in Munich from June 24-26.

The conference features more than 100 keynote and technical presentations from multiple industries, highlighting topics such as lightweight design, lead time reduction, crash and safety, impact simulation, multiphysics and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), design for additive manufacturing (AM), system simulation, and noise and vibration. The keynote presentations are scheduled on the conference’s second and third day, and will include talks from Altair, Jaguar Land Rover, Porsche, Scania, Stadler Rail, GKN Aerospace, Valeo, Voith, Magna Steyer and MAN Truck & Bus.

European ATC starts with three technical seminars, a solidThinking Inspire product training session, “The Next Big Idea” panel discussion and the FEKO User Meeting 2014, a company press release states. The “Next Big Idea” panel is a discussion on future demands and opportunities to solve challenges faced by disrupt covers some of the following topics:

  • ACENTISS GmbH — “Electric Unmanned Reconnaissance Optionally Piloted Airborne System (EUROPAS)”
  • Altair — “Innovation Driven Design”
  • City Transformer — “The Foldable Car Concept that will Change the Face of Inner City Traffic”
  • Jaguar Land Rover — “Lightweight Automotive Design”
