Airbus Selects MSC.Software’s SimXpert

To drive the design and process improvement on commercial aircraft development, Airbus has selected SimXpert, a simulation solution from MSC.Software‘s (Santa Ana, CA) SimEnterprise.

This CAE technology from MSC.Software, which has supplied Airbus with engineering products in use in France, Germany, Spain, and the UK in the past, enables Airbus’ intention to reduce modeling and solution development time, improve quality in the predesign phase of the airframe process, and optimize structural performance. The multiple installations of SimXpert are to be implemented using customized solution templates for the wing and fuselage sections.
