3D Systems announced the availability of Accura Xtreme White-200 plastic for use in its iPro SLA printers. The plastic is also available through 3D Systems’ Quickparts service.
The material offers high elongation at break, high impact strength and the stiffness and durability of ABS plastic, making it ideal for functional assemblies. According to the company, use cases include snap fits, functional assemblies, master patterns for vacuum casting and applications requiring outstanding toughness, such as automotive parts, drill/tap and mechanisms that must be bolted together.
