While engineers are called upon to perform simulations earlier and more frequently during the design process, engineering productivity is hampered by the limited compute resources available on their workstations. While high-performance computing (HPC) clusters can enable greater speed and productivity, the complexity and perceived cost of managing an HPC cluster are common obstacles to deployment.

Ansys has partnered with TotalCAE, Intel and Dell EMC to create a managed and totally integrated HPC Appliance powered by the latest Intel Scalable Xeon processors that makes HPC-based simulation available to any company, regardless of size or IT resource availability. Ansys has published a new solution brief describing the benefits of an appliance-based approach.

The HPC appliance is a plug-and-play solution managed by TotalCAE that is already pre-integrated with the Ansys software suite. The TotalCAE Platform provides job management, monitoring, and data management software to streamline and automate simulation tasks.

The result: unlimited simulation capacity at a fixed monthly cost. Check out the new solution brief describing the HPC Appliance. It can be downloaded here.
