RIGOL Technologies has added two new series to its mixed signal oscilloscopes portfolio. The MSO1000Z and MSO2000A series both add 16-channel logic analysis capabilities to their respective platforms. This officially expands Rigol's MSO portfolio to include 70MHz to 500MHz instruments, the company states.
The MSO1000Z is an entry level instrument ideal for educator, hobbyists and beginner level embedded designers. It is equipped with bandwidths of 70MHz-100MHZ, four analog channels, 16 digital channels, 1GSa/sec sampling and 24Mpts memory. Additional features include serial triggering and decoding and an optional integrated 2-channel source.
The MSO2000A has a bandwidth of up to 300MHz, 2GSa/sec sampling and 56Mpts memory. It also features a larger display and a 50,000 Wfms/sec capture rate. This system is ideal for more mainstream embedded designers.
“With ever-decreasing timing margins, today's embedded designers must be able to correlate analog signal behaviors with the logic state of their systems,” says Bob Bluhm, vice president, Rigol Technologies. “This need has driven the industry to provide mixed signal oscilloscope designs. With the introduction of the MSO1000Z and the MSO2000A, the Rigol portfolio spans from 70MHz to 500MHz, meeting the needs of most educational labs and embedded designs. Each of these products delivers unprecedented customer value by delivering outstanding performance characteristics at industry leading price points.”
