Augmented reality, virtual reality, digital twins, generative design, machine learning ... They sound futuristic and inconceivable, but many of them have already been deployed in manufacturing facilities. They’re not widespread; nor do they benefit from decades of trial and errors. Yet, they promise to transform design engineering and upend many traditional methods and workflows.
On Dec 13, in a LIVE roundtable discussion, DE editor Kenneth Wong will moderate a panel of experts to talk about:
- Topology optimization and generative design software that can suggest the best designs options;
- Virtual reality and augmented reality for professional use;
- Digital twins, machine learning, and AI.
