The success of Creaform‘s (Levis, QUE) flagship scanner, the REVscan (formerly known as the Handyscan 3D), has reached new heights with the sale of the 400th unit to the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This sale is a great step in solidifying the company’s position in the aerospace industry. Most recently, Creaform has launched the HSMTM, a data acquisition software that fully integrates the process of scanning 3D objects with the Handyscan 3D laser scanners into CATIA V5, which is a reference CAD platform in the field of aerospace. Creaform has also expanded its Handyscan 3D line of self-positioning handheld laser scanners by introducing the EXAscan, a scanner offering increased resolution and accuracy as well as a new automatic multi-resolution feature.
