ANSYS Releases Updated SCADE System Software

The platform now has features to support hierarchy management, data sharing and automated configuration.

ANSYS has shipped its latest version of its SCADE System software, an environment for data sharing and collaboration.

Release 15.2 enhances the SCADE System solution with unlimited component reuse and comprehensive data management for exchanging data with third-party databases and data propagation within systems architecture design. A new configuraton tool for customizing solutions for specific domains is also available.

Highlights of version 15.2 include:

  • Hierarchy management that enables users to manage and preserve consistency of replicated data. This, according to the company, saves engineers time and reduces the risk of introducing errors into models.
  • Data sharing and reuse through importing data dictionaries, allocating data to architecture and propagating it along communication paths. Model-based ICD (interface control documents) can also be defined at all levels within the system architecture.
  • Automation configuration technology that includes the tools and methods to customize solutions for customer-specific domains, in addition to domains such as IMA and AUTOSAR.
“Lack of internal collaboration has been a major impediment in product development,” said Eric Bantegnie, vice president at ANSYS. “This latest release of SCADE System helps to remove this barrier by enabling teams to share data effortlessly – furthering our vision for Simulation Driven Product Development.”
